I've spent my whole career making sure people pay attention. I started in radio, producing breakfast and drive shows for Capital and Heart, before moving into news and leading social at LBC, where we grew the brand from shock-jock territory into a genuine digital force. From there I helped launch the digital presence of podcasts like The News Agents, now the UK's most downloaded daily podcast, and ran the YouTube output for events like The BRITs, The Boat Race and Capital's Jingle Bell Ball.
Today I lead new business and marketing at Tribera, a creative content agency in Birmingham. I help ambitious brands get noticed, and I make the case that you don't need a huge budget or anyone's permission to do it. You just need to be a bit braver than everyone else.
Along the way I've worked with Costa, Greene King, WD-40 and LloydsPharmacy, reached over 215 million people, won various awards, run a celebrity's socials during I'm A Celeb, and somehow became an enemy of Prince Andrew. Most of it came from being a bit cheeky and going for it.
I built Birmingham Networking, a free directory of networking events across the West Midlands, because I was sick of good events being impossible to find. With my wife Lydia I co-founded Wedding Content Creator UK, one of the country's first wedding content businesses, which has since reached over 52 million people and built a following of 51K.
